Professional Counselling in Marylebone

Headshot of Chelle Brichard, professional counsellor

Welcome to Chelle Brichard Counselling

I understand life’s journey can be challenging and overwhelming. If you’re struggling with personal obstacles, relationship difficulties or seeking personal growth, I’m here to support you.

Counselling Approach

My approach to therapy is based on empathy, respect and collaboration. In particular, I aim to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts and feelings.

As an integrative therapist, I draw on different methods, tailoring my approach to your unique needs. I aim to help you gain insight, improve your self-esteem, find new ways to approach problems and achieve your personal goals.

Central to my approach is the transformative power of the therapeutic relationship. The relationship between client and counsellor is the cornerstone of therapy. Indeed it’s the foundation from which healing and growth can occur. Above all methods, I prioritise building a strong, authentic connection with you to enable meaningful exploration and change.

Counselling Services I Offer

I offer individual counselling for adult clients, either in person from private therapy rooms in Marylebone or online via a secure video platform. Including both short-term and long-term options to best suit your needs and goals.

For example, short-term therapy provides focused attention to support you in navigating a specific challenge or immediate concern. This typically lasts for 8-12 weeks.

Whereas long-term therapy provides more time and space for deeper self-discovery. This might include understanding patterns in your relationships, exploring emotional wounds and making lasting changes. Typically working long-term means keeping the duration open-ended, reviewing as we go until you feel ready to finish.

About Me

A qualified Humanistic and Integrative Counsellor, accredited by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy. I am committed to the ethical principles, values and good practice standards of my profession. I have been counselling since 2017 working initially in the charity sector, and in private practice since 2020.

While my training and experience provide the foundation of my work, I see myself not as an expert but as a compassionate guide. I help you navigate as you explore your inner workings and your connection to others. Ultimately my goal is to empower you to tap into your inner resources, cultivate resilience and make meaningful changes.
